Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Wayne (ranked 3219 p4p, 5708 weight class) and Havig Singh (ranked 430 p4p, 621 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Havig Singh!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Singh tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wayne is in Singh's guard.
Singh kicks Wayne off and gets to his feet.
Wayne fails with a takedown attempt.
Singh jabs at Wayne's body.
Singh swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Singh ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Havig Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wayne shoots for a double leg takedown but Singh sprawls well. He's pushed Wayne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Singh lunges at Wayne with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wayne's hand.

Singh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Singh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wayne.

Wayne remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Wayne wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Singh, who protects the arm well.

Singh bucks up and tries to throw Wayne off but instead Wayne has got his back!
Wayne is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Singh is defending well though. Wayne let's go of the attempt for now.

Michael Wayne decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
