The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilheim paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wilheim misses with a double jab
and Adefemi counters with a nice uppercut.
Wilheim wants to slow Adefemi down by chopping away at his legs.
Adefemi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Wilheim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Adefemi.
Adefemi ducks right into an uppercut from Wilheim.
Wilheim takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wilheim throws a sloppy body shot
and Adefemi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wilheim misses with a left hand
and Wilheim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wilheim throws a right and a left that Adefemi avoids nicely.
Adefemi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilheim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Adefemi throws a good cross that connects.
Adefemi circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Wilheim to the canvas! Wilheim doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Adefemi keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
