Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Sparrow (ranked 1688 p4p, 1292 weight class) and Elias Hosia (ranked 190 p4p, 149 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sparrow might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Knockout. Hosia has chosen Till I COLLAPSE as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Elias Hosia!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow connects with a jab.
It looks like Elias Hosia has been cut.
Jack Sparrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sparrow listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Sparrow moves into the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Sparrow.
I was talking to Sparrow's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Sparrow lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hosia looks winded!
Hosia throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sparrow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sparrow avoids the head kick by Hosia.
Sparrow closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hosia! Sparrow dives in looking to finish! Hosia is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Sparrow!
Jack Sparrow decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Elias Hosia was interviewed post fight and said 'That was a fun fight yeah I lost but the experience was all that mattered would love to have a rematch down the line.'.
