Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Warren! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warren misses with a combination
and Nolan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Good shot there by Warren. Nolan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Warren throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Nolan is looking to counter punch. Warren throws a series of punches but Nolan moves out of range. Nolan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nolan looks to score with a jab to the body but Warren is just out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Warren! But no joy. Nolan cracks Warren with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Warren looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nolan finish him?
It looks like Dexter Warren has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A slapping leg kick lands for Warren.
Dexter Warren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Warren throws a combination that misses and Nolan counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Nolan! A relieved looking Jon Nolan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
