Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Siete DiMaio (ranked 2180 p4p, 3265 weight class) and Fryin McRave (ranked 119 p4p, 164 weight class). DiMaio comes to the cage accompanied by All A's. McRave has chosen Skazi - Hit n Run as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DiMaio gets tackled into the cage by McRave. McRave maintains the clinch.
I was talking to DiMaio's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

DiMaio ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. DiMaio no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

DiMaio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McRave doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McRave manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DiMaio swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
DiMaio has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The fight stays on the outside here - McRave looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
