Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Punchy McPunchist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Martins Verdins! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verdins moves out of range of the strikes. Verdins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McPunchist. McPunchist gets in close and instigates a clinch. A right hook to the body lands for McPunchist.
Verdins looks winded! A short right from McPunchist. A short uppercut from McPunchist. McPunchist is working Verdins over against the cage. McPunchist lands on the inside with an uppercut. McPunchist scores with a hook to the body. A shot in the inside from McPunchist. A short body shot lands from McPunchist as the two fighters clinch.
McPunchist stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. McPunchist gets through Verdins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A quick uppercut on the inside from McPunchist. McPunchist lands on the inside with an uppercut. McPunchist lands a left hand.
Verdins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. A left hand lands to the body for McPunchist.
McPunchist scores with an uppercut up the middle. Verdins wants to get back to striking at distance but McPunchist won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McPunchist lands a shoulder strike. With the fighters clinched against the cage, McPunchist creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short left from McPunchist. McPunchist digs a right hand underneath Verdins's ribcage. Verdins let out a lung full of air as it connected. A right handed body shot lands from McPunchist.

Verdins is rocked! McPunchist lands with a short head shot on the inside. Verdins is still on wobbly legs! Can McPunchist finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McPunchist dips a shoulder and cracks Verdins with a mighty uppercut! Verdins falls back against the cage and McPunchist unloads with a barrage of strikes! Verdins is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - McPunchist screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Punchy McPunchist! Punchy McPunchist was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
