PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Caldeira (ranked 4391 p4p, 22575 weight class) and Marcin Cutlas (ranked 0 p4p, 714 weight class). Marcin Cutlas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcin Cutlas!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cutlas gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Cutlas cracks Caldeira with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Caldeira from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Caldeira tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caldeira has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cutlas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Caldeira to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cutlas is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Caldeira lets go of the hold and Cutlas can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A relieved looking Arturo Caldeira thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
