Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Everette!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joshua Jones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everette misses with a looping left.
The fighters circling - Everette throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Everette thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Everette.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Everette.
Everette misses with a straight left.
Everette throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Everette throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones cracks Everette with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Kyle Everette has been cut.

Jones moves into range and clinches up with Everette.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Everette lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Everette.
Jones misses with the head strike.
Everette has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Everette looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Everette is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jones makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Oh Everette is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones pushes Everette against the cage. Jones is working some dirty boxing. Jones pushes off with a quick right hook! Everette goes down! Everette tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Jones moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joshua Jones!
During a confident post fight interview, Joshua Jones thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
