Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luka Big!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Murray!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big tries to clinch up.
Murray tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Big is able to avoid easily.
Murray leaves Big with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Murray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Big connects with a body shot that sends Murray's belly button to the back.

Murray drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Big bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Murray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Big tries to avoid it but Murray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Big to the ground. Big escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A good leg kick by Big.
Murray dives in for a single leg takedown but Big sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Murray stuffs the takedown attempt from Big. Big gets slowly back to his feet.
Murray fails with a takedown attempt.
Luka Big has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Murray.

Big throws a nice looking combination but Murray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Murray shoots in and bounces Big off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Murray is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Big tries to bench press Murray off him but Murray keeps the position.
Big wants to control but Murray postures up.

It looks like Murray might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Murray is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Big drops his hands momentarily and Murray takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Murray cracks Big with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Murray closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Murray lands in his opponent's guard.
Big on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Big tries to get out of the position.

James Murray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Murray has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
