Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Turner (ranked 4512 p4p, 4695 weight class) and Johnny Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sterling Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Clark! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Clark blocks the leg kick.
Turner tries to clinch but Clark moves out of range. Turner falls off balance throwing a combination
and Clark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Turner tries to bum rush Clark with a series of wild strikes but Clark uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Clark throws a counter combo. Clark lunges at Turner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Turner's hand. Turner moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Turner throws a leg kick that is checked letting Clark counter with a right hand. Turner tries to score with a low kick but Clark moves his leg out of the way. Turner throws a combination that misses and Clark counters with a solid body kick. Sterling Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Clark throws a sloppy head kick and Turner counters with a three punch combo that has Clark backing up. Clark nods at Turner to acknowledge the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A leg kick checked by Clark. Turner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clark sprawls well. Clark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turner gets slowly back to his feet. Clark doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Turner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Clark manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Turner throws a lazy head kick and Clark counters with a head kick. That will keep Turner thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Johnny Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turner is breathing heavily. Turner throws a series of punches but Clark moves out of range. Clark changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Clark scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Clark lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Clark is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Turner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Clark takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turner takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner walks into a jab. Turner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Turner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Turner there as he acknowledges the shot. Clark paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Turner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Clark lands with a right that hurts Turner. Turner looks to clinch but Clark throws a short knee that drops Turner. This one is all over!
