Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mondo Morales (ranked 4704 p4p, 4589 weight class) and Alpa Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mondo Morales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpa Chino!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Chino misses
and Morales counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Chino has momentary wrist control but Morales slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morales cracks Chino with a solid left hand.
Morales scoring with some ground and pound.
It looks like Alpa Chino has been cut.
Morales got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morales has managed to get both his arms back between Chino's legs - danger averted.
Morales has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Morales thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Morales is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That has opened up Alpa Chino's cut even more.
Morales trying to control but Chino is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chino pulls Morales in close to his closed guard and prevents Morales from doing any damage or advancing position.
Chino keeping moving, preventing Morales from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morales engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Chino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morales. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chino wants to stand but Morales is controlling the position.
Morales passes into half guard.
Morales wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chino keeps working.
Morales landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The cut above Alpa Chino's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alpa Chino's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mondo Morales!
