Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wamberto Boaz (ranked 203 p4p, 422 weight class) and Stupid Tattoo Guy (ranked 14 p4p, 25 weight class). Boaz comes to the cage accompanied by Preciso me encontrar. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Wamberto Boaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stupid Tattoo Guy! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tattoo Guy misses with a takedown attempt - Boaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boaz misses with a leg kick. Tattoo Guy shoots in and bounces Boaz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tattoo Guy tries to stand but Boaz is controlling from the bottom. Tattoo Guy scoring with some ground and pound. Boaz wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tattoo Guy is working Boaz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tattoo Guy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boaz wants to sweep here but Tattoo Guy controlling him for the moment. Tattoo Guy trying to control the position from guard on top but Boaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tattoo Guy wanted to stand there but Boaz had control of the position. Tattoo Guy wants to stand and escape but instead Boaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Boaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Tattoo Guy is retaining full guard. Boaz passes easily into side control. Nice work. Boaz is looking to take a break and control but Tattoo Guy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boaz moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boaz wants to control but Tattoo Guy is keeping him busy. Boaz working away. Tattoo Guy is not content to let Boaz control the position. Tattoo Guy regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boaz slows the pace down in half guard. Boaz wants to pass the guard but Tattoo Guy is defending well. Boaz is trying to control the action in half guard but Tattoo Guy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Boaz trying to control the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tattoo Guy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boaz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Boaz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Boaz is looking for a triangle but Tattoo Guy pushes his legs off easily.
Tattoo Guy throws a big right hand that misses. Tattoo Guy landing some decent shots from guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Boaz has a closed guard, preventing Tattoo Guy from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tattoo Guy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Stupid Tattoo Guy dominated that round. That's time! Boaz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tattoo Guy looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tattoo Guy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tattoo Guy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tattoo Guy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Boaz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tattoo Guy passes Boaz's left leg - he's now in half guard. Boaz actively working from the bottom here. Tattoo Guy working Boaz over with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tattoo Guy prevents Boaz from improving his position. Tattoo Guy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Tattoo Guy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Tattoo Guy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. It looks like Tattoo Guy is going to stand back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tattoo Guy connects with a nice short shot to Boaz's temple. Boaz is trying to maintain the position but Tattoo Guy is very close to passing his half guard. Tattoo Guy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Tattoo Guy wants to stand up but Boaz is controlling the position.
Tattoo Guy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boaz's head. Boaz is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boaz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tattoo Guy. Tattoo Guy working the head and body with strikes. Boaz is looking to improve his position.
Boaz controlling the position for now. Boaz wants to sweep but Tattoo Guy has passed to side control! Boaz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tattoo Guy decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tattoo Guy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Tattoo Guy's coach down at Power Plant MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tattoo Guy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Boaz throws a nice outside leg kick. Stupid Tattoo Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boaz misses with a looping left. Tattoo Guy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Boaz to the ground. Tattoo Guy is now in Boaz's guard. Boaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tattoo Guy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boaz is trying to control the position but Tattoo Guy postures up. Tattoo Guy with a nice head shot there. Tattoo Guy working some strikes from top position. Tattoo Guy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tattoo Guy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tattoo Guy looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Tattoo Guy wants to stand and escape but instead Boaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Tattoo Guy wants to get back to his feet but Boaz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boaz sitting in guard here, content to control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Stupid Tattoo Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Boaz throws a body punch but Tattoo Guy moves out of range. Tattoo Guy avoids the head kick by Boaz.
Tattoo Guy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boaz counters with a nice uppercut. Boaz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Boaz loads up on a big right hand but Tattoo Guy slips the punch. Boaz dips to his left and cracks Tattoo Guy with an uppercut!
It looks like Stupid Tattoo Guy has been cut. Boaz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tattoo Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boaz tries to avoid it but Tattoo Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boaz to the ground. Boaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boaz throws a body kick that misses. Tattoo Guy defending well as Boaz loads up on a big left hand. Tattoo Guy drives through and clinches with Boaz against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tattoo Guy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A momentary lapse in concentration from Boaz enables Tattoo Guy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boaz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tattoo Guy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tattoo Guy has managed to get both his arms back between Boaz's legs - danger averted. Tattoo Guy throws a big elbow that misses. Boaz is working an open guard so Tattoo Guy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tattoo Guy looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tattoo Guy wants to stand but Boaz has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Tattoo Guy cracks Boaz with a solid left hand. Tattoo Guy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Boaz's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boaz is on top in guard.
Wamberto Boaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boaz passes Tattoo Guy's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tattoo Guy is trying to stand back up but Boaz is controlling him
Boaz is thwarting Tattoo Guy's attempts to control the position. Tattoo Guy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tattoo Guy scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Boaz manages to mount him!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boaz goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tattoo Guy turns into him and now he's in Boaz's guard.
Boaz has a closed guard, preventing Tattoo Guy from standing up. Tattoo Guy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stupid Tattoo Guy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Tattoo Guy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tattoo Guy trying to control the position from guard on top but Boaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boaz tries to strike from the bottom.
Tattoo Guy is sitting in close to Boaz's body. Boaz has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tattoo Guy is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tattoo Guy is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Boaz.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Wamberto Boaz! Wamberto Boaz decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
