Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam Beastly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beastly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Boadicea by Enya. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beastly fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hall moves away from the strike by Beastly.
Beastly blocks a leg kick.
Hall fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Beastly is out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hall. That's going to slow Beastly down.
Beastly scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Beastly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beastly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beastly prevents Hall from improving his position.
Hall won't allow Beastly to pass to mount.

Beastly is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Beastly is working for a kimura here but Hall manages to reverse the position and he's now in Beastly's guard.
Beastly looking for a sweep. Not yet Beastly, not yet.
Beastly working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hall has passed into half guard!
The fighters are battling for position here. Beastly manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Beastly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hall gets to his feet. Beastly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Beastly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hall throws out a leg kick but Beastly moves out of range and Hall only half commits.
Hall is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Beastly shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense.

and Beastly counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Beastly tries to move into range but Hall moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hall scoring well with a low kick there.
Ryan Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Beastly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hall tries to avoid it but Beastly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hall to the ground. Hall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Beastly counters with a takedown into side control.
Hall looks gassed!

Hall stops Beastly from passing to mount.
Hall is looking to regain half guard here but Beastly keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beastly tries for a kimura but Hall is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Beastly tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beastly has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hall can't do much from the bottom here.
Beastly working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Beastly thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bam Bam Beastly dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A nice combination there by Hall.
Hall falls off balance throwing a combination
and Beastly counters with a left to the body.
Beastly misses with a combination
and Hall counters with a one-two to the body.
Beastly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beastly wants to clinch.
Hall is breathing heavily.

Hall blocks a head kick by Beastly.
Hall pivots, looking for a leg kick but Beastly is out of range and Hall settles back down.
Hall will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Ryan Hall has been cut.
Beastly throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Beastly misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Beastly throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Hall counter with a right hand.
Hall attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Beastly throws and low kick but Hall moves out of range easily.

Beastly tries to clinch there but Hall circles away.
Beastly fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Beastly creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hall sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Beastly scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hall to see if he's OK.
Beastly is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Beastly looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Hall is not content to let Beastly control the position.
Hall gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Beastly working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Hall looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Beastly! Submission of the night perhaps?
