Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demolition Ax (ranked 3429 p4p, 3992 weight class) and Yowis Ben (ranked 368 p4p, 427 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Demolition Ax!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yowis Ben!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ax closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ben quickly recovers to half guard.
Ben moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ax stopping the sweep attempt from Ben.
Ax has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ben looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ax lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

It looks like Yowis Ben has been cut.
Ben wants to sweep but no luck.
Ax stands up over Ben, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ax is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

That has opened up Yowis Ben's cut even more.
Ben not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ax throws a big elbow that misses.
Ax is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ben utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ax is working Ben over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The cut above Yowis Ben's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ax postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ax sitting in guard here, content to control.
Ax trying to control the position from guard on top but Ben is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ax won't allow Ben to sweep him here.

Ben looking for a guillotine here but Ax defends easily.
Ax lands a couple of digs.
Ax has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ax drops back looking for a leg! Ben is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ben manages to kick Ax off! Ax jumps back into Ben's guard.

Ben controls Ax momentarily but Ax frees himself.
Ax trying to control the position from guard on top but Ben is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ben looking for a guillotine here but Ax defends easily.
Ax trying to control but Ben is working from the bottom.

Ax drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ax jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ben is looking for a triangle but Ax pushes his legs off easily.

Yowis Ben's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Yowis Ben's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
