The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Buchanan looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.
Buchanan dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jones appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Buchanan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Buchanan ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jonny Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathaniel Buchanan.

Buchanan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Jones tries to counter with a takedown but Buchanan is quick to defend against it.
Buchanan shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Buchanan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones cracks Buchanan with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Buchanan falls to his knees and Jones doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
