The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Siddik closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Siddik lands in his opponent's guard.
Miller wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Siddik manages to pass to side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Siddik connects with a nice short shot to Miller's temple.
Miller is looking for a sweep. Siddik is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Siddik seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Siddik has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Siddik is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Miller is hurt! He's hurt bad - Siddik fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Miller from any more punishment! Congratulations to Siddik! Great finish!
