Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Artemi Berezin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh misses with a combination

and Berezin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Singh's guard.
Singh wants to stand but Berezin is controlling the position.
Berezin scoring with some ground and pound.

Singh scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Singh fails to land with a series of punches.

Berezin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Havig Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Singh wants to stand up but Berezin is controlling him.

Berezin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Berezin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Berezin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A swing and a miss from Singh.
Berezin doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Berezin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Singh jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Berezin looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Singh throws a leg kick but Berezin moved away.
Berezin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Berezin slips a jab and a cross from Singh.
It seemed like Berezin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Berezin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Singh did well to prevent Berezin getting side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Berezin connects with a nice short shot to Singh's temple.
Singh is trying to stand back up but Berezin is controlling him

Singh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Singh tries to get out of the position.
Berezin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Berezin lands a nice short elbow.
Singh is trying to stand up here but Berezin is controlling him well.
Berezin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Still in half guard, Berezin seems content to control.
Berezin lands strikes from half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Singh pushes Berezin off looking to stand but Berezin dives back in and keeps control.
Singh has hold of Berezin's hands but Berezin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Singh is rocked!
Berezin working the head and body with strikes.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Berezin drives through with a takedown into Singh's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Oh Singh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Berezin loads up on a big left hand. Singh felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Berezin looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Singh can't hide his disappointment, as Berezin celebrates the victory.
