Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Mamar (ranked 3962 p4p, 4333 weight class) and Richard Anderson (ranked 420 p4p, 451 weight class). Mamar comes into the arena with Slipkibieber - Psychosocial Babe blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Mamar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Anderson! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mamar scores with a nice head shot. Anderson misses with a few strikes there.
Mamar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson. Mamar takes one on the button. A jab from Mamar misses. Anderson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Mamar misses with a straight right. Anderson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mamar with a body shot. A momentary lapse in concentration from Anderson enables Mamar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mamar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Anderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Anderson, not yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anderson can do anything to dispel that myth. Mamar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mamar postures up.
Anderson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mamar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mamar trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Mamar stands and throws Anderson's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mamar is putting a hurting on Anderson here, landing some big shots from side control.
It looks like Richard Anderson has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mamar scores with punches from side control. Mamar working away. Anderson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Well, if Mamar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mamar working Anderson over with strikes. Anderson wants to get back to full guard. Nice strikes from Mamar there. Anderson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Mamar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mamar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Mamar slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.
That has opened up Richard Anderson's cut even more. Mamar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ground and pound from Mamar. Anderson won't allow Mamar to pass to mount. Mamar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Anderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mamar is looking to advance position but Anderson won't allow it. Mamar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mamar connects with a nice short shot to Anderson's temple.
Richard Anderson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Richard Anderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kevin Mamar! During a confident post fight interview, Kevin Mamar thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
