The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Joestar's hands.

Joestar tries to counter with a clinch but Stevenson shakes him off and moves away.
Stevenson scores with a jab to the body.
Stevenson misses with a straight left.
Joestar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Joestar counters with a straight right hand.
We've been told by Stevenson's head coaches at Shao Kahns Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Stevenson moves into range and clinches up with Joestar.

Joestar's coach down at Deep waters was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Joestar's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Stevenson lands a big right hand that drops Joestar! The killer instinct kicks in and Stevenson finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Stevenson!
