Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 2143 p4p, 1533 weight class) and Umberto Reem (ranked 250 p4p, 187 weight class). Morgan comes to the cage accompanied by Survival of the Fittest. Reem is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad Reputation. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dexter Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 21 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Umberto Reem!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reem sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morgan somewhat.
Reem displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morgan.
Reem tries to clinch up.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reem as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dexter Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morgan lands a high kick!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reem throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease.
Morgan attempts a counter takedown but Reem avoids it well and moves away.
Reem uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Morgan has time to react.

Morgan takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Reem breaks from the clinch.
Morgan goes for a double leg but Reem avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reem continues to drive forward.

Reem tries to clinch but Morgan moves out of range.

Morgan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Reem. Reem obviously looking to wear him down.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Reem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morgan manages to avoid it.
Morgan shoots for a takedown but Reem saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reem misses with the combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morgan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reem.

Reem takes the fight into the clinch.
Reem struggles to land a body shot inside as Morgan controls his hands.
Reem wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Morgan tries to pull guard but Reem holds him up against the cage and eventually Morgan drops back down to his feet.

Reem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reem takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Morgan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reem defends well and Morgan ends up having to push Reem into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Reem lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Reem is trying to maintain a safe position but Morgan gets an underhook and turns Reem into the cage.

Morgan breaks the clinch.
Morgan throws a body kick that misses
and Reem counters with a series of strikes. Morgan will be more careful next time no doubt.
Reem tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it.
Morgan feinted with a counter takedown.
Reem avoids the head kick by Morgan.
Reem misses with a few strikes there.
Morgan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Reem throws a shot from downtown. Morgan moves away and avoids it.

Reem connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Morgan's hands.

Morgan scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Reem is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Reem misses with a punch on the inside.
Reem lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Morgan backwards.

Morgan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Morgan showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Morgan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Morgan looks to land a strike but Reem avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Morgan throws an elbow that misses. Reem uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Morgan's guard. Nice move by Reem!

Morgan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Umberto Reem is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Umberto Reem comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Reem winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
