Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Neves (ranked 1451 p4p, 1363 weight class) and Monte Zuma (ranked 173 p4p, 162 weight class). Bruno Neves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruno Neves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 40 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monte Zuma! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neves stuffs the takedown. Neves attempts a counter takedown but Zuma avoids it well and moves away. Zuma will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Zuma uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Neves. Neves feints and as Zuma raises his hands in defense, Neves changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Zuma trying to keep a closed guard but Neves is proving a slippery customer.
Zuma controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neves stopping the sweep attempt from Zuma. Zuma looking to control but Neves passes into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zuma is trying to get back to full guard. Neves perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zuma manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zuma is looking for a triangle but Neves pushes his legs off easily.
Neves is stalling in the full guard. Zuma looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Neves has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Zuma bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Neves's guard. Zuma trying to control but Neves is working from the bottom. Neves can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zuma controls the pace. Neves throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Zuma looking to improve position, pressing down on Neves's thigh with his hand. Neves seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Zuma paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Zuma's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Neves picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
