Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hristo Borgatov (ranked 4975 p4p, 4755 weight class) and Bartolomeu Ganz (ranked 120 p4p, 111 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borgatov shoots in looking for a takedown but Ganz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Borgatov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Borgatov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ganz defends it nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ganz or perhaps it was just good defense by Borgatov, which made it look bad.
Borgatov tries to counter with a takedown but Ganz is quick to defend against it.

Ganz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Borgatov's guard.
Ganz passes Borgatov's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Ganz seems to be working for a kimura but Borgatov defends the submission attempt.
Borgatov wants to control but Ganz is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Borgatov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ganz is keen to just control but Borgatov is a slippery customer.

Ganz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ganz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Borgatov is just riding it out for now. Ganz eventually gives up the hold.

Ganz seems to be working for a kimura but Borgatov defends the submission attempt.
Borgatov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Borgatov is trying to maintain the position but Ganz is very close to passing his half guard.

Ganz is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Borgatov to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Borgatov tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Borgatov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ganz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ganz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Borgatov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Borgatov has escaped and now he's on top!

Well Ganz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
