The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Way takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Way is looking to clinch.
Gaethje turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gaethje connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Gaethje slips a jab from Way.
Gaethje fires out a quick counter leg kick but Way just manages to avoid it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gaethje.
Way jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Way fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gaethje looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
No Way seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Way has knocked Gaethje down with a huge combo! Way steps away and waves a wobbly Gaethje back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Justin Gaethje has been cut.

Way rushes Gaethje and presses him up against the cage.
Oh Gaethje is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Way breaks the clinch.
Way lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Gaethje is looking to close the distance but Way sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Gaethje crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Gaethje is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
