Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartin gets caught flat footed, as Rojas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Rojas scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hartin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hartin controls Rojas momentarily but Rojas frees himself.
Hartin pushes Rojas off and scrambles back to his feet.

Hartin is trying to stand back up but Rojas is controlling him

Hartin is trying to escape back to his feet but Rojas uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rojas goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hartin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rojas's guard! Nice work there by Hartin!
Rojas has his foot on Hartin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hartin works his way back into a safe position though.

Hartin stands up out of Rojas's guard for a moment - Rojas manages to land a nice upkick.
Hartin wants to stand and escape but instead Rojas has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Rojas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hartin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rojas thows a big elbow that misses.
Rojas controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rojas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hartin's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rojas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hartin keeps working.
Hartin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rojas postures up in Hartin's guard and throws a big left but Hartin blocks it.
Hartin is looking to sweep but instead, Rojas has passed into half guard.
Hartin wants to stand back up but Rojas manages to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Rojas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rojas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hartin's guard.

Hartin throws a lazy right hand but Rojas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rojas shoots in but Hartin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hartin swinging wilding here.
Hartin has closed the distance and engaged Rojas in a clinch.
Hartin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rojas blocks it with crossed arms.
A short right from Hartin.
Hartin throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hartin is breathing heavily.
Rojas on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hartin is trying to stall.
Rojas fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hartin prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pepe Rojas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hartin keeps control of Rojas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hartin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hartin gets underhooks to prevent Rojas's takedown attempt.
Rojas has picked Hartin up - he's going for a ride! Rojas dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Hartin is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Rojas has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Hartin is tapping! This fight is all over!
