Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aidan Glenswilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu takes one to the side of the head.
Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Glenswilly throws a hook to the side of Jitsu's head but Jitsu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Glenswilly sizes up Jitsu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Glenswilly misses with a shot to the body

and Jitsu counters by moving into the clinch.

Glenswilly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Glenswilly lands a slapping body shot.
Jitsu shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glenswilly misses the jab.
Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Glenswilly.
Glenswilly digs a good hook to Jitsu's body.

Jitsu throws a fast counter high kick but Glenswilly manages to duck under it in time.
Glenswilly leaves Jitsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Glenswilly wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Aidan Glenswilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jiu Jitsu.

Jitsu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Glenswilly avoids it really well and circles away.

Jitsu is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Aidan Glenswilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glenswilly throws the left hand but Jitsu avoids the punch easily.
We've been informed that Jitsu has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Glenswilly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jitsu manages to avoid it.

It seemed like Jitsu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Jitsu wants to counter the offense by Glenswilly and move into the clinch position.
Glenswilly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jitsu! But no joy.
Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Glenswilly connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Glenswilly pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jitsu back to the cage. Glenswilly follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Jitsu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jitsu is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jitsu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Glenswilly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jitsu.

Jitsu looking for a submission but Glenswilly manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Glenswilly is looking to stand up but Jitsu isn't so interested in that idea.

Jitsu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Glenswilly works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jitsu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Glenswilly manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jitsu has Glenswilly in his guard.

Jitsu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Glenswilly pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Glenswilly wants to get back to his feet but Jitsu is holding on tight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Glenswilly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Jitsu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Glenswilly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jitsu is in Glenswilly's guard.
Glenswilly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jitsu on the ground.

Jitsu drops back looking for a leg! Glenswilly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Glenswilly manages to kick Jitsu off! Jitsu jumps back into Glenswilly's guard.

Glenswilly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jitsu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jitsu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Glenswilly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jitsu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Glenswilly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jitsu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Glenswilly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Glenswilly seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Glenswilly wants to stand up but Jitsu has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Jiu Jitsu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Jiu Jitsu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Glenswilly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
