Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Turn (ranked 4327 p4p, 4553 weight class) and Matt Decland (ranked 460 p4p, 481 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, King Turn !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matt Decland!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Decland gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Turn trying to control the position from guard on top but Decland is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Decland is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Turn tries to free his leg and advance position but Decland is retaining full guard.

Decland is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Decland preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Decland's guard.
Turn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Decland keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Decland won't allow Turn to pass to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turn trying to control the action but Decland is working from the bottom.

Turn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Turn is trying to control the action in half guard but Decland is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Turn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Decland is just riding it out for now. Turn eventually gives up the hold.

Turn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Decland connects with a nice looking jab.
Turn shoots in for a takedown but Decland shows good takedown defense.
Sloppy strikes from Decland. Those never looked like landing.
Decland lands with a straight right. Turn didn't see that one coming.
Decland pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Turn back to the cage. Decland follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like King Turn has been cut.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Decland misses with a double jab.
Turn changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Decland keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Decland darts in and clinches Turn up against the cage.
Decland gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Turn .
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Matt Decland will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on King Turn 's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Turn shoots in for a takedown but Decland shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Decland missing with a left hand there. Turn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Decland cracks Turn with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Turn tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Decland pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Turn is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Decland!
