Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy The Show (ranked 1420 p4p, 1269 weight class) and Vladimir Punchsky (ranked 38 p4p, 30 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vladimir Punchsky was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy The Show! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladimir Punchsky! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Show is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Punchsky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Show sees it coming and avoids it easily. The Show throws a body punch but Punchsky moves out of range. Punchsky lunges at The Show with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by The Show's hand. Punchsky scores with a jab to the head.
Punchsky has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Vladimir Punchsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punchsky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Punchsky throws a right and a left that The Show avoids nicely. The Show bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Punchsky's head. The Show has been working on his boxing with his coaches at PSE in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. and The Show counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The Show rushes Punchsky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Punchsky lands a shoulder strike. Punchsky lands a hook that snaps the head of The Show backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The Show blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The Show tries to work over Punchsky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Punchsky is trying to break the clinch but The Show has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Show closes the distance but Punchsky moves to the side and Punchsky counters with a thumping low kick. Punchsky looks to land a right hand but The Show moved out of range. The Show takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Punchsky lands with a cross. Punchsky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The Show closes the distance and clinches. Punchsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Punchsky circles away from the clinch attempt.

The Show might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Punchsky preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Punchsky pushes The Show off and scrambles back to his feet.

Punchsky stalks The Show and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into The Show's face. The Show staggers backwards, shaken. And that is the end of the round. That was a close second round but I would say that Randy The Show will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Vladimir Punchsky's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! The Show moves in looking to clinch but Punchsky pushes him off. Vladimir Punchsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Punchsky looks to land a combination. The Show sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The Show tries to clinch up. A left lands for The Show. Punchsky listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Punchsky showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from The Show.

That's one minute gone in the round. The Show changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Punchsky tries to avoid it but The Show manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Punchsky to the ground. Punchsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Punchsky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Punchsky throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The Show lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Punchsky up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs The Show from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Punchsky's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randy The Show! Randy The Show tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
