And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruten stuffs the takedown attempt from Riscatelli. Riscatelli gets slowly back to his feet.
Riscatelli shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Riscatelli is pressing down on Ruten's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ruten is holding on for now.
Ruten is staying active underneath Riscatelli, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Riscatelli might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ruten kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Riscatelli blocks the strikes from Ruten.
Riscatelli prevents Ruten from improving his position.
Ruten missing with punches from the bottom.
Ruten tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Riscatelli takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Ruten throws a series of punches but Riscatelli avoids them all with ease.

Ruten is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Riscatelli has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ruten is pushing Riscatelli's head away, looking to escape. Riscatelli manages to hold on to the position though.
Riscatelli slows the pace down.
Ruten takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ruten tries to bench press Riscatelli off him but Riscatelli keeps the position.
Riscatelli tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Riscatelli has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ruten tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Riscatelli lands a few punches from side control.

Riscatelli has hold of Ruten's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ruten tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Riscatelli cranks the arm and Ruten screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ruten, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
