Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomare throws a head kick but Berezin moves out of range.
Berezin looks like he wants to counter punch here.

The crowd cheers as Berezin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lomare doesn't seem phased though.

Berezin is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Lomare looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lomare. Berezin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lomare tries to clinch up but Berezin circles away and keeps his distance.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendrick Lomare. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lomare throws a right hand that Berezin ducks under and follows up with a left that Berezin also avoids with ease.
Lomare darts in looking for a takedown but Berezin gets double underhooks and turns Lomare into the cage.
Lomare is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

It looks like Kendrick Lomare has been cut.
Berezin scores with the left hand. Lomare knows he should have avoided that one.
Lomare is rocked!
Lomare throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Berezin's waist but Berezin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lomare off to one side.
Oh Lomare is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooooh!!! Berezin has knocked Lomare down with a huge combo! Berezin steps away and waves a wobbly Lomare back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Berezin leaves Lomare with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Berezin scores with a counter punch that sends Lomare to the canvas! Berezin smells blood - he's punishing Lomare with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lomare has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
