Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scot Harwath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Edgar Avetisyan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harwath takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Harwath cracks Avetisyan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Avetisyan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Harwath finish him?
Avetisyan is rocked!
It looks like Edgar Avetisyan has been cut.
Edgar Avetisyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harwath ducks right into an uppercut from Avetisyan.
Avetisyan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Avetisyan lands with a nice body kick.
Avetisyan misses with a hook. Harwath ducked under it nicely.
Harwath was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Avetisyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harwath swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Avetisyan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harwath throws a lazy right hand but Avetisyan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Harwath counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Harwath misses with a straight right.
Avetisyan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Harwath misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Avetisyan.

A jab lands there for Avetisyan.

and Harwath connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It seemed like Avetisyan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Harwath needs to keep his hands up - Avetisyan had a free shot at his head there.
Harwath takes a swing at Avetisyan's ribcage but misses.

and Harwath counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Avetisyan thinking.
Avetisyan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Harwath counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Harwath throws a looping overhand right but Avetisyan ducks down to avoid it.
Harwath throws a lazy right hand but Avetisyan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Avetisyan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Avetisyan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harwath.
A little jabbing left from Avetisyan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Scot Harwath will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Avetisyan keeps Harwath at a distance using the push kick.
Avetisyan's corner calls for a 1-2. Avetisyan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Harwath takes one to the chin there.
Avetisyan lands a leg kick that knocks Harwath off balance momentarily.
Avetisyan tries a head kick but it misses.
Harwath feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Avetisyan sprawling to the canvas! Avetisyan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Harwath finish him?!
