PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keith Kenneth Ferkingstad (ranked 1449 p4p, 1106 weight class) and Keith Seng (ranked 178 p4p, 138 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seng scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Seng looks to throw the jab but Ferkingstad is out of range.
Keith Seng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Seng has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Seng seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Keith Seng comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Seng has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
