The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connolly misses with a wild body shot.
North Connolly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Longchain avoids the body shot from Connolly.
Longchain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Connolly.
Connolly looks to score with a jab to the body but Longchain is just out of range.
Connolly closes the distance looking to clinch
and Longchain counters with a straight right hand.
Connolly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Longchain was well out of range. Poor timing from Connolly.
Connolly takes a swing at Longchain's ribcage but misses.
Connolly misses with a low kick.
Longchain lands a head shot.

It looks like North Connolly has been cut.
A left lands for Longchain.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Longchain ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Connolly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Longchain swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A jab from Longchain finds it's way through Connolly's defenses.
A head kick by Connolly misses
and Longchain counters with a left to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Longchain dodges the punch combination from Connolly.

and Longchain counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Connolly down! Longchain is looking to finish but Connolly is intelligently defending himself.
Longchain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Connolly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Longchain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Connolly is tightening it up a little... Longchain has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Longchain reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Longchain taps out! Nice BJJ there by Connolly!

A less than humble North Connolly misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
