Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gunnar Bloodaxe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dean Worish!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worish takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Dean Worish has been cut.
Bloodaxe thows a left - swing and a miss!
Worish is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Worish needs to keep his hands up - Bloodaxe had a free shot at his head there.
Worish tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bloodaxe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bloodaxe cracks Worish with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bloodaxe has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Worish to stand back up!
Worish is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bloodaxe fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Worish square on the jaw! Damn, Worish is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gunnar Bloodaxe!
