Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Markos Hadjilis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hadjilis.
Hadjilis lands a jab to Wilson's midsection.
Hadjilis throws a head kick but Wilson moves out of range.
Wilson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Wilson walks into a jab.
Hadjilis has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hadjilis throws a shot to the body.
Hadjilis moves away from the strike by Wilson.
Hadjilis looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Wilson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hadjilis throws out the jab.
Markos Hadjilis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Wilson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hadjilis manages to break the clinch.
Hadjilis throws out a powerful jab.

Wilson moves into the clinch successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Still in the clinch, Hadjilis scores with a nice short uppercut.

Hadjilis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hadjilis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Wilson is rocked!
Wilson shoots for a double leg takedown but Hadjilis sprawls well. He's pushed Wilson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilson leaves his chin hanging out and Hadjilis seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Wilson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Markos Hadjilis!
Markos Hadjilis spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
