Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift has closed the distance and engaged Thompson in a clinch.
Thompson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Swift avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Thompson wants to stand but Swift is controlling his posture from full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Thompson will probably get the nod.

Thompson has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Swift tries to bum rush Thompson with a series of wild strikes but Thompson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Charlie Swift comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Swift has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
