Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Wilber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clark Kent!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent staying out of range there.
Kent closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wilber swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kent shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wilber counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut.
Kent steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wilber.
Wilber throws an off balance right hand
and Kent counters with a good, hard body kick but Wilber shrugs it off.
Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kent misses with a takedown attempt
and Wilber scores with a counter punch that sends Kent to the canvas! Wilber smells blood - he's punishing Kent with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kent has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Wilber!
