Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Sierron (ranked 4887 p4p, 4872 weight class) and Benny Owens (ranked 574 p4p, 572 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Sierron has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Sierron seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sierron throws a head kick but Owens moves out of range.
Sierron circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sierron fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Owens tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sierron swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Owens closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sierron to the mat! Sierron manages to get full guard.
Owens has gone for a leg lock! Sierron slips out almost immediately though and dives into Owens's guard.
Owens throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sierron escapes and throws Owens's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Owens is looking to reverse the position.
Sierron decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Owens closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sierron circles away.
Owens just misses with a punch to the body.

Sierron scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Owens manages to mount him!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Owens throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

And Owens tries to counter it with a takedown but Sierron pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Sierron stalks Owens and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Owens's face. Owens staggers backwards, shaken.

Owens dives in and grabs Sierron's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sierron pushes down on Owens's head and hops out.
Owens throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sierron, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
