Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Gonzalez (ranked 4439 p4p, 3675 weight class) and Long Wang (ranked 534 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Wang circles away easily
and Gonzalez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cody Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzalez is breathing heavily.
Gonzalez tries to clinch up but Wang circles away and keeps his distance.
Wang looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Wang closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gonzalez to the mat! Gonzalez manages to get full guard.
Wang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzalez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
