Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cole Orion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Swango!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swango instigates a clinch.
Orion misses with a hook from the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Swango.
Swango is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Orion is keeping busy.
A short uppercut from Orion.
It looks like Michael Swango has been cut.
Swango goes for a takedown attempt but Orion pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Swango fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Swango tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Orion defends well and Swango ends up having to push Orion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cole Orion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Swango.
Swango checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Swango with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Orion to score with a decent uppercut.
Orion lands a glancing blow to the side of Swango's head.
Swango gets a double leg takedown into Orion's guard.
Orion trying to keep a closed guard but Swango is proving a slippery customer.
Orion preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orion has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Swango can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Orion keeping full guard, as Swango tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Swango has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Orion to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Swango is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Orion pulls down on the head and he's put Swango to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Cole Orion!
