Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barry Smith!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Otstoev scores a takedown into full mount!
Otstoev working for a guillotine from mount but Smith is in no mood to give up.
Otstoev is going olschool here, as he tries to force Smith to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smith shrugs it off.
Otstoev looking to control but Smith is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Smith has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Otstoev's lack of action.
Smith misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Otstoev seems to be looking for submissions.
Smith wants to get back to full guard.
Otstoev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smith doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Otstoev.
Otstoev is working for a submission of some sort.

Smith is looking to improve his position.

Otstoev is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Smith stuffs the takedown.
An inside leg kick lands from Smith.
Otstoev is breathing heavily.
A big head kick from Smith and Otstoev is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Otstoev is rocked!
It looks like Kamaz Otstoev has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Oh Otstoev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Barry Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Otstoev drops his hands momentarily. Smith doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Otstoev staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Otstoev doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barry Smith!
