Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Tony Cornell (ranked 6339 p4p, 5749 weight class) and Butch Killstone (ranked 714 p4p, 670 weight class). Killstone has chosen JNATHYN - Genesis as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Cornell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butch Killstone! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cornell lands a nice shot that snaps Killstone's head back.
Cornell tries a head kick but it misses.
Cornell is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cornell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Killstone fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Cornell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Killstone takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Cornell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Killstone misses with a straight left. Cornell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Killstone. Cornell misses with a lunging right hand
and Killstone counters with a right hand to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Killstone throws out a loose jab but Cornell uses good head movement to avoid it. Killstone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Cornell is looking to land body kicks. Killstone let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Killstone moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killstone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A countering left hand to the body from Killstone misses. Killstone closes the distance and pushes Cornell back into the ropes. Cornell is trying to force a seperation but Killstone has the dominant position. Killstone working aggressively here.
Cornell manages to break the clinch.
Killstone closes the distance and clinches. Killstone using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cornell has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Killstone has Cornell pressed against the ropes, preventing Cornell from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Killstone with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Killstone lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cornell backwards. Killstone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cornell is defending well for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cornell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Killstone throws a hook but Cornell blocks it. Cornell throws a quick counter kick to the body but Killstone avoids it. A slow jab from Killstone misses its intended target. Killstone closes the distance but Cornell moves to the side and Killstone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cornell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Killstone.
Cornell throws a half hearted mid kick. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cornell, as that shot connected.
Killstone has closed the distance and engaged Cornell in a clinch.
Killstone lands a nice uppercut. Cornell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Killstone takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Killstone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cornell, pushing him back against the ropes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cornell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cornell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A lazy body kick from Cornell and Killstone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Killstone takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Killstone instigates a clinch. Cornell is trying to break the clinch but Killstone has him pressed against the ropes. Cornell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Killstone darts in trying to clinch and Cornell counters with a straight right hand. Cornell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Killstone. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Killstone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Killstone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Butch Killstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cornell throws a lazy uppercut
and Killstone counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Cornell goes down! Killstone rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Cornell is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Butch Killstone! A relieved looking Butch Killstone thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
