Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Felipe Cortez (ranked 4856 p4p, 15553 weight class) and Silvio Crespo (ranked 513 p4p, 698 weight class). Cortez comes into the arena with Vicente Fernandez - El Palenque blaring out of the sound system. Crespo has chosen Ghost ''Im A King as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crespo throws out a loose jab but Cortez uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Cortez on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Cortez scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Crespo to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Crespo tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Cortez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and as Crespo looks to reset his feet, Cortez counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending Crespo crashing to the canvas! Crespo is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but Crespo is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! Cortez is your winner!
