Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demo Kable (ranked 2583 p4p, 1871 weight class) and Roman Emelianenko (ranked 279 p4p, 206 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Emelianenko's choice of entrance music: Mala Dama - Kabat. Roman Emelianenko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demo Kable! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kable throws an overhand right that lands on Emelianenko's shoulder, as Emelianenko tries to avoid the shot. Kable looks to land a combination. Emelianenko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Roman Emelianenko has been cut. Emelianenko misses with a straight right. Emelianenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A right-left combo lands from Kable. Kable lands with a straight right. Emelianenko didn't see that one coming. Kable dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Emelianenko swings widly with a right hand
and Kable counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kable throws a body shot but no joy. Kable keeps the fight on the outside. Emelianenko looks to land a left hand but Kable moved out of range nicely. Kable went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Emelianenko defending well as Kable loads up on a big left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kable throws a big shot that misses. Kable looks to land a left hand but Emelianenko moved out of range nicely. We've been informed that Emelianenko has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kable misses with a body shot.
Emelianenko now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Demo Kable seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kable throws a left and a right that both miss
and Emelianenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Emelianenko gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That has opened up Roman Emelianenko's cut even more. Emelianenko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Emelianenko tries to counter with a clinch but Kable shakes him off and moves away. Kable connects with a body shot. Kable throws a right and a left that Emelianenko avoids nicely. Kable throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Good standup being displayed there by Kable as he connects with a hook. Emelianenko seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Kable shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Emelianenko is backing up but Kable catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Emelianenko covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Kable Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Demo Kable! Demo Kable is the new heavyweight champion! Demo Kable thanked the fans post fight for their support.
