Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maclom Huff (ranked 25106 p4p, 6050 weight class) and Mabel Greene (ranked 712 p4p, 619 weight class). Mabel Greene told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maclom Huff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mabel Greene!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Huff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Huff takes one to the side of the head.
Greene just misses with a punch to the body.
Greene with a nice cross.
Huff misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Greene misses with a takedown
and Huff counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Huff.
Huff prevents the takedown attempt.

Maclom Huff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mabel Greene.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Greene looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Huff is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Greene is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
