The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morikawa throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bailly counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Morikawa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bailly momentarily.
Morikawa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morikawa fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bailly on the side of the head.

Bailly shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morikawa napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Morikawa is looking for a sweep.

Bailly is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Morikawa has escaped the position, nice work there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bailly is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morikawa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bailly is trying to get an arm triangle but Morikawa is defending well.

Bailly wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morikawa, who protects the arm well.

Morikawa is trying to control Bailly's posture but Bailly avoids it.

Bailly has hold of Morikawa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Morikawa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bailly cranks the arm and Morikawa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Morikawa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
