Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harold Kerzner (ranked 2114 p4p, 1631 weight class) and Anthony Rodgers (ranked 309 p4p, 249 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harold Kerzner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anthony Rodgers!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers gets caught flat footed, as Kerzner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kerzner trying to control but Rodgers is working from the bottom.
Kerzner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rodgers is keeping the position for now.
Kerzner is working hard here to advance position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodgers pulls Kerzner in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kerzner tries to free his leg and advance position but Rodgers is retaining full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Rodgers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rodgers throws a shot to the body.
Nice cross by Rodgers.
Rodgers feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kerzner sprawling to the canvas! Kerzner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rodgers finish him?!
Kerzner is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kerzner walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kerzner limp body while Rodgers jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anthony Rodgers!
Anthony Rodgers tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
