The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers stuffs the takedown.
Rogers lands a lovely overhand right.
Rogers throws a body shot but no joy.
Almeida doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rogers counters with a three punch combo that has Almeida backing up. Almeida nods at Rogers to acknowledge the strikes.
Almeida dives in for a single leg takedown but Rogers sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
