5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Memphis Aleist! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aleist shoots in and drives through. Tubzinki sprawls well. Tubzinki throws a right hand that Aleist ducks under and follows up with a left that Aleist also avoids with ease. Tubzinki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Aleist gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tubzinki wants to break free but Aleist has control.

Tubzinki ducks under a wild hook from Aleist. An inside leg kick from Tubzinki misses. Tubzinki tries to land a front kick but Aleist steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Tubzinki throws out a loose jab but Aleist uses good head movement to avoid it. Horrible takedown by Tubzinki or perhaps it was just good defense by Aleist which made him look bad. Aleist is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tubzinki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tubzinki wants to control but Aleist is keeping him busy.

Tubzinki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tubzinki has control of Aleist's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Aleist regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Aleist tries to clinch up but Tubzinki circles away and keeps his distance. A slapping body kick lands there for Aleist. Tubzinki misses with a takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Tubzinki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aleist moves away. Tubzinki tries for a takedown but Aleist circles away easily and Aleist counters with a stiff right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aleist misses with a double jab.
Aleist takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tubzinki looks to score with a jab to the body but Aleist is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aleist throws a combination. Tubzinki tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tubzinki misses with a wild body shot. Aleist fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tubzinki cracks Aleist with an open hand slap. Tubzinki scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tubzinki working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tubzinki wants to control but Aleist is keeping him busy. Tubzinki has hold of Aleist's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Aleist tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tubzinki cranks the arm and Aleist screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Aleist, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
