Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adio Harris (ranked 3814 p4p, 3172 weight class) and Enzo Williams (ranked 497 p4p, 417 weight class). The key to victory for Adio Harris has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Enzo Williams!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails with a takedown attempt.
Harris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harris's waist but Harris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.

Williams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Harris's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harris dives on top into guard.

Harris wanted to stand there but Williams had control of the position.
Harris has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Williams is looking to sweep but instead, Harris has passed into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harris tries to stand but can't do so whilst Williams controls his leg.

Williams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Williams finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Williams drops back, looking for a kneebar! Harris looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Harris looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Harris!

Williams manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Williams is looking for a sweep. Harris is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Harris is breathing heavily.
Williams trying to hold on to Harris's head to control him but Harris postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Williams manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harris manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Williams looking for a guillotine here but Harris defends easily.

Williams looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.


Williams postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Harris is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Williams, into his guard.

Williams wants to sweep here but Harris controlling him for the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Enzo Williams will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Williams has gone for a leg lock! Harris slips out almost immediately though and dives into Williams's guard.

Williams wants to sweep but no luck.
Williams lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Enzo Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams struggling a bit here.
Williams is looking to regain half guard here but Harris keeps moving and retains side control.
Williams is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Harris prevents Williams from improving his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Williams manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Williams looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Williams is looking for a triangle but Harris pushes his legs off easily.

Williams has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Harris doesn't defend quickly enough and Williams has managed to lock this one up! Can Harris escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Williams on a fantastic submission victory.
