Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Monke Qqq!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qqq throws a body punch but Rude moves out of range.
Rude is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Qqq.
Rude has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rude's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Qqq doesn't manage to clinch there - Rude circles away.
Qqq misses with a few strikes there.
Qqq pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Qqq misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rude changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Qqq moves into range and clinches up with Rude.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Qqq dives in and grabs Rude's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rude pushes down on Qqq's head and hops out.
Rude drops down looking for a counter takedown but Qqq sprawls and moves away.

A head kick from Qqq lands but Rude takes it in his stride.
It looks like Dude Rude has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Qqq looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rude drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Qqq gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Qqq shoots in but Rude avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rude throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Qqq was covering up waiting for the punch and Rude finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rude stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Qqq swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rude is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Qqq tries to close the distance and clinch but Rude swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Rude makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Rude counters with a three punch combo that has Qqq backing up. Qqq nods at Rude to acknowledge the strikes.

Rude connects with a leg kick.
Rude stalks Qqq and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Qqq's face. Qqq staggers backwards, shaken.
Qqq is rocked!
It looks like Monke Qqq has been cut.
Qqq throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Qqq is still on wobbly legs! Can Rude finish him?
Rude closes the distance and clinches.
Rude turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rude decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Qqq looks winded!

Qqq seems to have recovered his senses.
Rude clinches up with Qqq and pushes him back against the cage.
Rude gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Qqq manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Rude gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rude breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rude looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Rude's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Qqq throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rude misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Qqq.
Rude pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Qqq throws a lazy right hand but Rude sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rude avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Qqq is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Rude drops Qqq with a huge uppercut! Qqq drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rude is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
